For over a year, the couple experimented with countless ingredients, winemaking techniques, and flavor profiles, eventually landing on a proprietary blend of dealcoholized wine, natural ingredients, and production magic that allowed them to craft a rich, oaky, flavorful bottle of California Red Blend that looks, smells, and tastes just like the traditional wines they knew and loved.

The Challenge

After struggling for years to find non-alcoholic red wine to replace their evening glass of Cab, YOURS co-founders (and husband and wife duo) Kelly and Marina began the journey to make their own. The company is on a mission to offer the world’s best portfolio of non-alcoholic red wines, with flavor profiles and mouthfeel that mirror the traditional red wine experience consumers are looking to replace.

The Solution

For YOURS’ first SKU – YOURS Non-Alcoholic California Red Blend – BevZero dealcoholized the red blend base before the product went to bottling. The YOURS team was so impressed with the team at BevZero that they contracted them to help build the brand’s second SKU, a true Cabernet Sauvignon. Services offered by BevZero for this product included Product Development, Dealcoholization, and Production Support.

The Results

Response to YOURS Non-Alcoholic California Red Blend has been phenomenal, with many customers claiming it’s the best alcohol-free red wine they’ve tried. The team at YOURS is so excited to debut its Non-Alcoholic Cabernet Sauvignon this fall, as they believe the response to this product will be even more widely enjoyed thanks to the expertise offered by BevZero during the development process.

Timeline

YOURS Non-Alcoholic California Red Blend took nearly a year to develop and produce. Working with BevZero on YOURS Non-Alcoholic California Cabernet, the timeline from development to launch has been cut in half, down to just six months.
