BevZero South Africa supports winemakers, distillers and non-alcoholic beverage producers in various related services from our production facility and through our mobile service offering. These services include dealcoholization (down to 0.5% and below 0.05%), alcohol reduction (sweet spot), crossflow filtration, and product development.

Wine Services
BevZero pioneered the use of Very Low Temperature Distillation (VLTD) as a tool for winemakers and has been utilizing and perfecting their offerings for 30 years. As a leader in alcohol and flavor management BevZero now offers multiple services to the wine industry to assist in creating the best possible traditional, lower alcohol and now no alcohol wines.
Dealcoholization Services
For No Alcohol products removing alcohol down to <0.05% abv as desired
BevZero’s global team of experts has helped launch dozens of non-alcoholic wines including assistance in the identification of the best wine, complete removal of alcohol and complete product development services as desired.
Lower alcohol (Lifestyle) beverages
BevZero is proud to have been instrumental in the development and launch of the first lifestyle wines launched in the USA and UK and continues to work closely with wine producers launching new products in the growing category of lifestyle wines globally.
Alcohol Adjustment – Reducing alcohol slightly as desired for product style preferences.
With BevZero’s unique technology, only 10% of the total wine blend needs to be processed for each degree of alcohol reduction, and 90% of that wine is recovered during processing. Also unique to BevZero, wine does not need to be filtered and can contain a high percentage of solids.
Wine Disposal
BevZero can dispose of unwanted/tainted wine and can accept transfers in bond from Bonded Wineries into our Distilled Spirits Plant.
Crossflow Services
BevZero offers crossflow filtration down to 0.45 micron to be used in conjunction with reverse osmosis processing or before bottling.
Flavor and Aroma Recovery
BevZero can concentrate and isolate the volatile flavor profile of liquids and slurries. The oak extract industry for wine additions relies heavily on Spinning Cone technology.
FSO2 Removal
BevZero offers legal reductions of total FSO2 levels in wine down to 50ppm.
Stuck Fermentation Services
BevZero can reduce the alcohol content of the fermenting must to a level at which the winemaker can re-start the ferment.
Sweet Spotting Consultation
BevZero offers complimentary on-site tasting to determine the best final alcohol strength of the wine being adjusted (the Sweet Spot).
Juice Concentration
When sugar accumulation is low in the vineyard, BevZero can remove neutral water to 40 brix while allowing zero loss of flavors and aromas.
Cider Services
With decades of experience in alcohol removal paired with the SCC and proprietary technology the BevZero team developed and now offers unique services to the cider industry including alcohol removal for low or No alcohol beverages, and product development of unique exceptional innovative beverage products.
