BevZero South Africa Invests in Advanced Paarl Facility to Drive Quality and Innovation in Dealcoholized Wines

Paarl, South Africa – 06 October 2025 – BevZero South Africa, a global leader in dealcoholization and beverage innovation, is proud to announce the relocation of its operations to a new, larger facility in Paarl, placing the company even more firmly in the heart of the Cape Winelands. Conveniently located just south of Paarl and adjacent to the N1 national road, the new site offers improved accessibility and enhanced capacity to serve the growing demand for premium dealcoholized and alcohol-free wines.

This strategic move underscores BevZero’s commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring clients receive the highest-quality services and production capabilities.

A Facility Designed for Growth, Quality, and Sustainability

  • Increased Storage & Capacity: Storage and production tanks increased from 144,000 L to 346,000 L to support higher volumes.
  • Purpose-Built for Quality: Located away from grape crushing and fermentation activity for a cleaner production environment.
  • Upgraded Infrastructure: New flooring and drainage aligned with stringent food safety and quality systems.
  • Sustainability at the Core: A fully covered solar panel roof to optimize power utilization; covered offloading/loading inside the facility.
  • Enhanced R&D Capabilities: A dedicated lab and product development area to accelerate innovation.

Investing in Advanced Equipment and Technology

  • New Cooling System to store wine at 6°C, elevating efficiency and operating parameters for the Spinning Cone Column (SCC).
  • Steam Availability for higher-temperature tank cleaning.
  • Automated CIP System for consistent, validated sanitation.
  • Compliant Storage for chemicals and dry goods, meeting food and quality standards.

Combined with BevZero’s existing services—alcohol reduction/removal, filtration, and pasteurization—the new facility enables an all-in-one, high-quality solution for dealcoholized and alcohol-free producers.

“Our team is very excited about the future and the space we now have available. We can offer our clients so much more, and that was the goal—to enhance our service offering by increasing production capacity and improving quality. With this move, we’ve successfully achieved both. The new facility positions BevZero to grow in step with market needs and to add any services our producers require,” said Gustav Fouche, Managing Director, BevZero South Africa.
