Andrew Schwendeman

Winemaker & Product Advisor

A native of upstate New York, Andrew received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Master of Science in Developmental Genetics from The Rockefeller University. Andrew caught the wine bug as a graduate student in New York City. After graduating he entered the wine industry selling wine in retail and restaurant settings, and developing and presenting a highly-successful wine education program. He moved to Sonoma County in 2017 to work in wine production. Andrew worked in the cellar before finding his way back to the laboratory and then becoming the enologist at a premium winery in Sebastopol, CA. Andrew joined the BevZero team in February 2022.
